RelayWorks

Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-09-10

Draft — not yet reviewed by an attorney. This is a working template covering RelayWorks' actual features and billing behavior, written to be accurate about what the product does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should be before it's relied on for a real, paying customer base — particularly the liability limits, the SMS/TCPA section, and anything specific to your state's consumer protection law.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of RelayWorks (the "Service"), operated by Sisters Branding Co ("RelayWorks," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you," "your company").

1. What RelayWorks is

RelayWorks is scheduling, quoting, and customer-communication software for trade and field-service businesses. Depending on what you set up, it may include: job scheduling and calendar sync, quote/contract creation and electronic signature, AI-assisted drafting of customer replies, missed-call text-back automation through your own connected Twilio account, and a shared-password schedule view for crew members who don't have individual accounts.

Some features (Stripe Connect for collecting payments from your own customers) are not fully built yet and are labeled as such in the product where they appear.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind the business you're signing up on behalf of. One maker account is created per company at signup; the account owner can invite teammates, who create their own individual accounts under the same company.

You're responsible for anything that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials and any two-factor authentication method secure. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Crew access

RelayWorks lets a company share one link and one password with crew members so they can view their day's schedule without individual accounts. You're responsible for who you give that password to and for rotating it (from Settings) when someone leaves your crew or you otherwise want to revoke their access — rotating immediately signs out anyone currently using the old password.

4. Subscription and billing

RelayWorks is billed as a flat monthly subscription per company, charged through Stripe. First-time subscribers get a 21-day free trial; a payment method is collected at signup but isn't charged until the trial ends. Re-subscribing after a canceled or lapsed subscription doesn't include another trial.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel any time from Settings, which opens Stripe's own billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law.

If a payment fails and isn't resolved, access for your entire team is suspended until the subscription is brought current — this is not a data-deletion event, and your data isn't removed for a payment lapse alone.

We may change subscription pricing going forward. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect for your account; continuing your subscription after that date means you accept the new price.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use RelayWorks to send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited messages, or in any way that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, or similar laws in the jurisdictions you operate in.

If you connect your own Twilio account for missed-call text-back, that phone number, any A2P 10DLC brand/campaign registration, and compliance with SMS marketing and consent law is your responsibility as the account holder — RelayWorks provides the software, not the message content, consent records, or carrier relationship.

You won't attempt to access another company's data, probe the Service for vulnerabilities without authorization, or use it to build a competing product.

6. Your data and customer data

You retain ownership of the data you and your customers put into RelayWorks — leads, quotes, job records, photos, and signed contracts. You're responsible for having the right to collect and store your customers' information (names, addresses, phone numbers) in the Service.

We don't guarantee against data loss and encourage you to keep your own copies of anything critical (signed contracts, payment records) rather than relying on RelayWorks as your only copy.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data on your behalf.

7. Electronic signatures

RelayWorks' built-in contract signing captures a drawn signature, the signer's typed legal name, their IP address, and a cryptographic hash of the exact terms presented, consistent with the U.S. ESIGN Act. You're responsible for how you use signed contracts and for complying with any state-specific contract requirements for your trade.

8. Third-party services

RelayWorks integrates with third parties to provide the Service, including Stripe (billing), Anthropic (AI-drafted replies), and, if you connect it, Twilio (SMS/voice). Your use of those integrations is also subject to those providers' own terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using RelayWorks and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, don't pay for the Service, or pose a security risk to other customers.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

RelayWorks is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-drafted content — including drafted messages and drafted quotes — will always be accurate or appropriate to send without review.

The Service gives you tools to preview what the AI would say or quote before it's sent, to be alerted when it's unsure and hand a conversation to you, and to take over any conversation as yourself at any time. You're responsible for how you configure and supervise those tools, and for reviewing any AI-drafted quote before sending it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RelayWorks is not liable for the content of any message or quote the AI drafts or sends on your behalf, or for any claim, dispute, or damage arising from a customer's reliance on it.

RelayWorks does not guarantee delivery or timing of any text message, call, or notification, including missed-call text-back. The Service is not a substitute for emergency dispatch or a monitored answering service, and you shouldn't rely on it as your only way of responding to a customer emergency.

RelayWorks is software only. It doesn't provide, and isn't a substitute for, the professional licensing, permits, or general liability/workers' compensation insurance your business is required to carry to perform trade work — maintaining those remains entirely your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RelayWorks' total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.

11. Indemnification

You'll defend and indemnify RelayWorks against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use of the Service; content or messages you send or that are sent on your behalf through the Service, including AI-drafted ones you didn't review; your violation of these Terms or of any law (including TCPA/SMS consent law); or the work, contracts, or disputes between you and your own customers.

12. Force majeure

We're not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages or failures of third-party providers we depend on (Twilio, Stripe, Anthropic, our hosting and database providers), natural disasters, internet or power outages, or government action.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect; continuing to use RelayWorks after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
